VOCATIONAL Certificate & DIPLOMA Options in Christian Studies
The 10742NAT Certificate IV in Christian Ministry & Theology (CRICOS No 083602J) and the 10743NAT Certificate IV in Christian Ministry & Theology (CRICOS No 083603G) course empowers dynamic, relevant yet effective approaches to ministry. It will develop, then further hone skills that will increase the effectiveness of your ministry activities and increase your wisdom in applying Scriptural interpretation and application. This Bible-based learning experience will foster connection skills with communities and incite useful techniques for you to engage in ministry. It will also encourage you to consider new ideas and dimensions of mission.
The Associate Degree and Degree
An Associate Degree in Ministry equips students for engagement as ministers and workers in churches and other Christian ministries. Providing a firm grounding in Biblical studies with solid theological applications, this course propels a finely tuned understanding and interpretation of the Scriptures into relevant ministry impact.

The Bachelor of Ministry thoroughly prepares men and women for significant vocations in ministry. Providing both comprehensive ministry skill training, a broad and deep knowledge of Scripture, as well as exposure to a breadth of Christian doctrines, students are encouraged to think critically and thoroughly explore issues.
Degree students delve into systematic Christian studies as well as diversified reading, procedurally focusing on varying areas of ministry. The course prepares them for major field placement, where theories, rehearsals and debates face the crucible of Christian Ministry reality.
For those who have already completed degree level studies (in any discipline), a post-graduate Masters programme might be more appropriate. We offer both Master of Arts (CRICOS No 063708J) and Master of Divinity (CRICOS No 063710D) options (delivered through Australian College of Christian Studies, as a Member Institution of the Sydney College of Divinity).
Australian College of Christian Studies offers the Master of Arts (CRICOS No 063708J) degree that enables those who hold a tertiary qualification in a non-theological discipline, to pursue either a specialisation in Biblical Studies, a specialisation in Theology or a specialisation in Pastoral Counselling. Professional entry is also available to those who meet entry requirements. This is an 18-month course.
The Master of Divinity (CRICOS No 063710D) option is a three-year commitment, completing 24 subjects. It boasts an extremely comprehensive syllabus that prepares the student for Christian ministry or graduate research study in theology at the highest level.
